Dan Ladd: The harsh reality of ticks on the New York landscape

On our camping trip, Adrienne wasn’t exactly wandering around in the brush or woods. In fact, she does more of that on her daily walks around our home property. Still, she managed to have two blacklegged (deer) ticks embedded on her over the weekend. The reason, I believe, was her attire.
