Life Lessons: What the Boy Scouts taught me

Looking back on my childhood years, I remember my most fun times were playing in the outdoors. It did not matter if the outside temperature was 28 degree or 82 degrees F, I was happy outside in the fresh air, snow or sunshine.
I remember one summer, when I was 10 years old, I draped an old canvas tarp over our family’s picnic table for a makeshift shelter, reminiscent (at least to me) of an old trapper’s cabin.
