The Minnesota House of Representatives voted April 27 to remove the sunset on crossbow use, allowing them to remain legal during archery season statewide.
The bill, SF1251, passed 133-0 with bipartisan support. It was presented by Rep. Josh Heintzeman, R-Nisswa.
SF1251 had already passed the Senate Floor on April 9, with bipartisan support. The bill passed 67-0 in that chamber. The Senate version was authored and presented by Susan Pha, DFL-Brooklyn Park.
