There might still be some ice floating around on Saturday’s start to the walleye season, but you’ll be opening somewhere along the Canadian border to encounter it.
Even where ice was hanging on early this week, there will be water to fish, and there’s a good chance – with some warm weather and/or wind – that any remaining ice could be completely gone by opening day.
