The Lac du Flambeau Tribal Council announced recently a revision to its list of lakes that are being closing immediately to non-tribal member hook-and-line fishing for walleyes and muskies.
In a species-specific move the tribe says is aimed at studying, stocking and rehabbing state waters within the reservation, the council approved resolution No. 6526, which states non-tribal members are prohibited from targeting walleyes and muskies on the following lakes.
