Four fish that earned spots in Michigan DNR’s Master Angler Program in 2025 came from Otter Lake – and three of the four were bass.
That bit of information likely comes as no surprise to anglers who frequent the 890-acre Houghton County water, which has enjoyed a reputation with the state’s bass anglers. What may be a surprise – a pleasant one at that – is that new classes of bass appear to be growing at a good pace.
