Outdoor Observations: Closure coming to bass fishing during the spawn on some northern Michigan waters?

Michigan Natural Resources Commissioner John Walters introduced an amendment at the commission’s Oct. 9 meeting in Houghton to close the catch-and-immediate-release bass fishing season during the spawning timeframe on several northern Michigan lakes.
