“We are going to do a combination of ground fishing and shark fishing,” I told anyone who would listen, as the summer field trip for the Duck’s Unlimited (DU) Conservation Programs Committee (CPC) approached.
As I wrote in my last column, we were headed to Maine for a two-day meeting. Dr. Karen Waldrop, DU’s chief conservation officer, Jessica Tyler, DU’s manager of conservation projects, and I decided to stay another day after the meeting to go fishing.
