I had the unique opportunity to fish with Gov. Mike DeWine and a couple of his grandkids during the 45th annual Governor’s Fish Ohio Day last month.
It was my first time fishing alongside the governor himself after about 10 years of attending Governor’s Fish Ohio Day on Lake Erie. The annual event is aimed to highlight the Lake Erie fishery and drive home its importance to the region’s tourism and economy.
