With legacies spanning more than 50 years each, it would be hard to find two individuals more closely associated with their respective fields of outdoor expertise than Al Stewart and Richard Smith. Now both have one more highlight to add to their long list of career accomplishments: induction into the Michigan Outdoor Hall of Fame.
The induction of Stewart, whose name is synonymous with upland game bird management, and Smith, renowned for his expertise and insight into whitetail deer and black bear behavior, was celebrated May 17.
