When a world-record catch is made while fishing, a great deal of luck is involved.
Now, I’m not saying the angler is not a good fisherman. For most people, one day, out of the blue, the hook is set and suddenly, that fish of your dreams is at the end of the line. When it happened to me, that wasn’t the scenario.
I knew that day in 1982 that I was absolutely certain to catch a record fish – it was part of my plan. There was no technological assistance in finding that fish, either.
