VT: Hinesburg Man Convicted of Baiting Bears

Barre, Vt – A Vermont commercial hunting guide has been convicted of baiting bears for his hunting clients. John Monfreda, 41, of Hinesburg was convicted October 19, 2011 in Chittenden County District Court. Monfreda was fined $ 200.00 and will have his right to purchase Vermont hunting, fishing and trapping licenses suspended for three years. […]
