State Roundup: Legendary Wisconsin wildlife biologist authors another book

Neil F. Payne ranks as one of Wisconsin’s legendary wildlife biologists. My knowledge of Payne began simply through his emails to me every spring and fall asking for an address change from his summer residence to his wintering groups.
Over the years we started talking and it was then I discovered the colorful character who walks this Earth as Neil F. Payne. I’ve never actually met Payne, but I’ve come to enjoy our email exchanges and phone calls. I’m happy to say Payne has written another book, this one entitled Wildlifer: Wisconsin Origin to Climate Change.
