Popular Pennsylvania outdoor writer starts new chapter in his life after retirement

After penning his final story for Lancaster LNP – his 1,645th in a 37-year career – Ad Crable immediately began hearing from readers.
At last count, more than 300 fans had reached out to thank Crable for his columns and features about hunting, fishing and the great outdoors, and he plans to send each one a personal response.
