Ohio firearms season was again safe for hunters

There was a total of 10 hunter incidents during deer gun season in Ohio, and all of the people involved in those incidents are expected to be OK. (Stock photo)

For the fourth year in a row, there were no fatalities during Ohio’s deer gun week, Dec. 2-8, according to the ODNR Division of Wildlife.
The last time Ohio suffered a fatality during the deer firearms season was in December of 2020, according to Kandy Klosterman, law enforcement executive administrator for the Division of Wildlife.
