I guess you could say my father was a “casual” deer hunter. As much as he liked hunting, he didn’t have time to take it too seriously. With seven mouths to feed – me being the youngest – Dad worked plenty of overtime at a local mill. Much of that overtime, or additional side-work, was on Saturdays, and several of those occurred during deer season.
