During late May and through pretty much all of June, bass-fishing action can be expected from dark to dark. As the middle of the summer settles in, that all seems to change.
While there are situations in which both largemouth and smallies will bite throughout the day, a better bet is to cater your strategies to the conditions. The easiest way to do this is to set an early alarm.
