South Dakota increases nonresident waterfowl licenses

The South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks Commission has approved an increase of 300 nonresident waterfowl licenses, putting the commission and the department at odds with resident hunters in the state. (Photo by John Pollmann)

Waterfowl hunters from outside South Dakota stand a better chance of drawing a license in the state’s lottery system after the state’s Game, Fish and Parks Commission unanimously approved an increase in the number of licenses available for nonresidents.
