Michigan walleye anglers are blessed to have many great waters for pursuing this favorite sportfish.
The only place that might top Michigan is Minnesota, and Minnesota doesn’t have access to as much Great Lakes walleye fishing as Michigan anglers have.
In a winter like 2022-23, there were more opportunities to fish open water than ever.
