On March 20, the United States Second Circuit Court of Appeals, which is based in New York City, heard previous injunctions and temporary restraining order rulings on five lawsuits challenging provisions in Gov. Kathy Hochul’s Concealed Carry Improvement Act, and various other guns laws passed in June, 2022.
One of those cases, Gazzola v. Hochul, which seeks to provide relief to firearms dealers in New York from a number of provisions laid out in the new gun laws, is facing a decision on whether it should be immediately moved up the U.S. Supreme Court.
