Are Pennsylvania grouse growing tame – again?

A couple of days ago, I read one of the more thought-provoking items to appear in my email inbox in a long time. It provokes thought because it’s about ruffed grouse behavior, a bird that means much to me personally, and to Pennsylvania’s natural heritage and outdoor traditions.
