Iowa workshop offered to teach everything about turkey hunting

A two-day workshop designed for those 16 and older to teach how to hunt, field dress and cook wild turkey is being offered in Iowa on March 9 and 16. Space is limited and anyone interested is encouraged to register. (Stock photo)

The Iowa Department of Natural Resources is offering a program to teach skills needed to hunt, field dress and cook wild turkey to adults.

The two-part workshop, scheduled from 6-9 p.m. on March 9 and 16, at Olofson Shooting Range, near Polk City.
