Looking back, Minnesota pheasant hunters have gotten smarter and pheasant numbers have increased, too. It’s no coincidence. But it hasn’t happened overnight.
For example: Almost unheard of these days are pheasant hunters complaining about predators when bird numbers decline. The connection seems obvious.
