Steve Carney: Low water as Minnesota’s summer wanes; and adjusting bow season plans

I’m seeing a majority of the cabin and lake people in northwest Minnesota pulling in their docks and boats, and just throwing in the towel weeks earlier than normal.
The reason: Our water levels are still critically low. I have needed to launch my boats with waders to get into the water from the low accesses.
