Recently the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) reported that there is a $16.5 million structural deficit in the Fish and Wildlife Account. It’s been reported that programs vital to hunters, trappers, and fishermen will be severely impacted in addressing the deficit.
I am no expert in finance, but I do know how Wisconsin can start to right the ship. I would start by addressing nonresident hunting, trapping, and fishing license fees.
