Reports of moose sightings outside their core range are increasing across northern Minnesota, but the Minnesota DNR says it is too early to determine whether there is an increase in the population.
Tom Gable, project lead of the Voyageurs Wolf Project at the University of Minnesota, said during the past decade, his cameras have been picking up and catching more moose outside their core range of Boundary Waters country in northeast Minnesota.
