Tom Venesky: Change to daylight saving time would impact hunters as much as anyone

Timing is everything.
During deer hunting season, that means getting up in the darkness of the early morning hours to be in the woods before sunrise. But if the U.S. Senate passes a proposal to make daylight saving time permanent, awaking in the wee hours of the morning would no longer be necessary. Sure, you would still have to get up before sunrise to get in the woods, but instead of doing so at 5 a.m., an hour later would suffice.
