It’s interesting how two seemingly unrelated activities can share so many parallels until you step back and contemplate the many similarities.
Last month, I spent a week in Sea Isle City, New Jersey, with my wife, kids and in-laws. While I’m generally more of a camping trip to the mountains kind-of-guy, we do enjoy our annual visit to the sandy beaches of the Atlantic shoreline for some fun in the sun as a summertime change of pace. During one of my many ocean-front forays, it dawned on me how going to the beach is kind of like the perfect training for hunting season.
