New York is about to become the center of attention for professional bass fishing as the Bassmaster Elite Series is set to close out its season in the Empire State.
What is often referred to as the “northern swing” commences Aug. 13-16 in Plattsburgh when the Elite Series anglers will spend four days fishing Lake Champlain. Two weeks later, from Aug. 27-30, it’ll be Clayton’s turn, as the quaint village will host the Elites’ last event of the year on the St. Lawrence River.
