Dean Bortz: What’s going on with these short-eared does roaming Wisconsin’s woods?

Tim Springstroh, of Appleton, captured these trail camera photos (above) of another short-eared doe after seeing George Guyant’s photo (below) in the previous issue. While Guyant’s doe is in the Amherst Junction area, Springstroh’s photos came from the town of Mukwa just south of New London, so it’s seems unlikely that the photos show the same doe.
