What’s behind the resurgence of lever-action rifles?

Spomer says the biggest push behind the lever-action resurgence is in its name – action. "Pulling an AR’s trigger is ok, but operating a lever-action is tactile satisfaction multiplied. Who can resist?"

Lever-action hunting rifles are “hot” because they’re cool again.
Modern westerns like Tombstone, Wyatt Earp, and Yellowstone have raised the lever-action profile. Restrictions on some “AR-style” autoloading rifles for home defense made speedy lever-actions viable in that market. The legalizing of a straight-wall “cowboy” cartridge for deer hunting in former shotgun-only states contributed.
