Chronic wasting disease (CWD) was detected in an additional 41 deer this past hunting season in Ohio, bringing the total since the first finding in 2020 to 115.
That information comes from ODNR Division of Wildlife deer program administrator Clint McCoy, whom I recently spoke to for an update on where things stand with CWD.
