Outdoor Insights: An early look at how the Minnesota DNR’s new electronic licensing system is working

After work last Tuesday, I quickly downloaded the new MN DNR Licensing smartphone app from the Apple store, then it probably took me 15 minutes to successfully log in.
I think most of that time was due to the necessary security protocols that exist for a system like this, which contains loads of private information. David Tauchen, an info officer at the DNR, showed me a little trick that eased my concerns about protecting that information.
