A new camera is being tested by the Minnesota DNR this spring for waterfowl counts and population surveys.
As part of a pilot program, researchers are evaluating whether the MX-10 can improve aerial surveys by providing more accurate counts in wetland areas. Bruce Davis, wetland wildlife research group leader for the DNR, recently participated in a flight to test the camera.
