When Mike Betanzos Jr. arrowed the biggest buck of his life in Ulster County, N.Y., on election day last November, he knew it had record book potential. But, as so many hunters often attest, the buck meant much more.
Still, Betanzos, who lives in Wallkill, is pleased that his buck, which had 17 scorable points, will likely enter the New York State Big Buck Club’s record book at No. 12 in the bow non-typical category with a net score of 193-3.
