The Natural Resource Board (NRB) has heard numerous presentations so far this year during board meetings seeking to eliminate social and fundraising events arranged by hunting and trapping groups.
One thing we learn in public relations is to invent emotional arguments to sell ideas. The anti-hunting/trapping and anti-animal agriculture representatives are experts in promoting their goals with extreme language. Therefore, they have named these social and fundraising efforts as “killing contests,” effectively selling their attempts to easily gain supporters and donations while attempting to end such gatherings.
