Minnesota DNR achieves some wins in legislative session

The legislative session ended Sunday, May 17, and throughout the session the Minnesota DNR pursued several priorities. While it achieved some goals, others will need to wait until 2027.
Bob Meier, assistant DNR commissioner, highlighted several bills the agency successfully pushed across the finish line, including one of the session’s most important pieces in its final days.
