Michigan taxidermist bags 484-pound ‘booner’ bear

Award-winning taxidermist Tim Gorenchan from Escanaba, Mich., of North Country Taxidermy spends most of his time preparing life-like mounts of game and fish that other people shoot and catch, but he now will be using his expertise to prepare a mount of a trophy of his own.
He plans on completing a full mount of a Boone and Crockett qualifying black bear he shot in Menominee County last fall while hunting with hounds owned by Cody Welch.
