The Racine County DNR fisheries team has surveyed Tichigan Lake several times over the past 20 years, with the most recent surveys occurring in 2017 and 2022.
If anglers based their decision to hit Tichigan for bass, northern pike, and walleyes strictly on the results of the 2022 survey, they might head to a different lake. If they reached back a little farther, to the 2017 survey results, anglers might wonder how those numbers could have changed so noticeably in five years.
