Steve Pollick: A reality check in regards to protecting our land and water

The 56th observation of Earth Day ambled past on April 22, and it was cause here for some ruminations about how much we take for granted living on this Blue Marble, or Pale Blue Dot, as this planet has been called. Consider the air we breathe.
