Annual Minnesota DNR Fisheries egg take operations are nearing completion, but a new delayed fry study could help shape future walleye management.
Minnesota DNR Fish Production Supervisor Paula Phelps said this year’s operations went smoothly and are nearly finished. All eggs have been placed in hatcheries, with a portion set aside for the delayed fry study.
