A new land purchase that adds acreage to a popular southeast Minnesota state forest open to the public for outdoor recreation, including hunting and fishing, has been signed, sealed, and delivered to the Minnesota DNR.
The Trust for Public Land (TPL) recently donated the 155-acre property in Wabasha County to the Minnesota DNR, expanding the Richard J. Dorer Memorial Hardwood Forest in the picturesque bluffland region.
