An informational hearing at the Environment, Climate and Legacy Senate meeting on March 5 debated the future of lead ammunition and fishing tackle in Minnesota.
A number of organizations testified for and against removing lead from ammo and angling equipment. Sen. Jennifer McEwen, DFL-Duluth, has authored bill SF1595 with Sen. Alice Mann, DFL-Edina. It aims to phase lead out of ammunition and tackle.
