Sickened geese found in northeast Ohio

Reports of sickened and dead geese suspected of having bird flu were reported at a northeast park. (Stock photo)

There appears to be an outbreak of avian influenza – or bird flu – in a localized flock of Canada geese in this Trumbull County city.
Youngstown-based TV station WKBN has reported that a local expert in wild birds warns people to stay away from the stricken birds in Perkins Park.
