Last September, one of the hundreds of trail cameras that the Voyageurs Wolf Project has deployed in and around Voyageurs National Park caught a glimpse of a rare lynx event that previously had been undocumented.
“It was exciting because it was the first time that kittens had been documented in Voyageurs National Park,” said Thomas Gable, the project lead.
