Big shows with big lineups: 2026 ATA and SHOT Show review

The Archery Trade Association (ATA) Show and Shooting, Hunting, and Outdoor Trade (SHOT) Show just finished up, and Outdoor News had staff on the ground and noses to the air to find out what the latest and greatest products will be for 2026.

Outdoor News’ Sales and Marketing Director Brian Knutson, attended SHOT, and reported that safety and security where in the hot lanes for growth.

“Optics also saw continued evolvement with new designs, technology and modular features,” Knutson said. “Ammo had an incredible presence at the show with lots of new loads and cartridges, particularly from Federal, Remington, and Winchester. Pistols were, of course, integral, and tech products were dynamic with drones and trail cams all getting their share of floor space.”

ATA had dipped a bit in attendance over the last couple years, but saw a resurgence in brands attending and consumers. In the past, only dealers, buyers and manufacturer staff could walk the floor, but ATA opened the last two days of the show for “civilians” to check out some of the best archery related products in the world.

There was a noted “buzz” at ATA and SHOT that had both industries optimistic about 2026 sales and innovations.
