One of the rewards for spending long, cold, lonely hours parked on backroads as a volunteer bald eagle nest-watcher in Ohio is that you might just find a new eagle nest.
Just that happened to me, a long-time nest-watcher, in mid-January. My nest-watching goes back perhaps 40 years but for two years now I have joined nest-watch volunteers in the Sandusky County Park District.
