Preliminary results from the 2025 hunting seasons indicate that Michigan’s 644,000 hunters were relatively safe last year through all hunting seasons.
As of Jan. 8, the number of hunting incidents reported on the DNR’s Law Enforcement Division’s web page was three, including one fatality.
