If you are casting about for a New Year’s resolution to follow in 2026, here’s an easy one that your local wildlife populations will thank you for: Build a brush pile.
Brush piles are magnets for all manner of furred and feathered creatures, and once you get one – or a few – up and running, you are going to notice an uptick in wildlife presence on your “back 40.”
