The Natural Resources Research Institute at the University of Minnesota-Duluth and the Minnesota DNR are kicking off a long-term carnivore study this winter around the Duluth area.
Researchers will radio-collar bears, coyotes, and bobcats in Duluth, Hermantown, Proctor, and the surrounding areas during the coming months to begin tracking the animals’ movement in urban areas.
